Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Quality Hotel Ambassador Perth is frequently praised for its spacious rooms and convenient location, with the CBD and foreshore being within easy reach, not to mention the free bus services right outside. Many guests appreciate the comfortable beds and find the buffet breakfast offers great variety. While some have mentioned the hotel's decor could use updating, the value for money is generally considered a strong point, especially given its proximity to landmarks such as Barrack Street Jetty and Claisebrook train station, which offers direct airport access.

nice stay!

comfy bed outdoor parking

the standard queen room was very clean, and it had such a comfy bed i almost didn't want to leave! the friendly reception staff helped me quickly with check in and out. i'm grateful for the convenient outdoor parking, especially since my car is a bit too tall for underground garages.

i noticed there wasn't a designated smoking area available. smokers near the entrance created an unpleasant experience when entering and exiting the hotel. it would be better if there was a separate area away from the front door.

Service

9/10

the staff was courteous and helpful . they answered all my questions with patience and a smile. any minor requests were handled quickly and efficiently, demonstrating their dedication to guest satisfaction.

Facilities

8/10

the hotel provided convenient outdoor parking, a big plus with larger vehicles. i did see a lift available for easy access to different floors. a book swap was available, that is a thoughtful addition for travellers.

Dining

10/10

breakfast was included, it made for a great start to the day. the breakfast included a selection of pastries. i always appreciate when a hotel offers such a convenient and cost-effective option.

Rooms

9/10

city stay delight

spacious room prime parking pleasant receptionist city exploration

the room was spacious (it really seemed like a home away from home!) and had good amenities for coffee and tea. i found a pleasant receptionist during check-in. i also had a prime parking spot, a great convenience. the location is perfect for exploring the city.

The room walls showed some wear. They weren't as pristine as i would have hoped.

Rooms

9/10

the room featured a comfortable queen bed and two bedside tables, each equipped with individual reading lamps. it also included a work desk with ample space, as well as a seating area with a sofa and a coffee table.

The room was large and fairly modern. The bathroom had a tub. The lifts to the upper floors worked efficiently. Receptionists were helpful and cheerful.

The building seemed old and in need of a refurb. My room was small and dark. There was chipped paint in the room.

Acceptable, but Lacking Attention to Detail

dirty room missing sugar

My stay experienced some issues. Housekeeping did not make my bed. The floor wasn't cleaned or vacuumed either. The room was quite dirty. I saw stains on the table. Cups weren't washed, and sugar wasn't replaced. The bed consisted of two single beds pushed together, not the double bed I expected.
